Are you an experienced home care nurse who enjoys varying work environments and works smoothly independently? We are looking for a nurse for a fixed-term employment contract in the Home Care Resource Pool 4 team until June 6, 2027. The employment begins as agreed. The work is day work performed on weekdays. As a nurse in Resource Pool 4, you will work in Helsinki's home care teams across the city. The length of assignments varies according to service needs. You work in one home care team at a time, and assignments are generally at least a week long. This allows you to get to know the clients and the team's operating methods and work systematically as part of the work community. The work offers the opportunity to utilize and deepen your home care expertise in different operating environments. The working area is the entire Helsinki, but you can influence this by discussing your placement wishes regularly with your supervisor. We strive to take your wishes into account as far as possible. Although the work is mobile, you belong to your own resource pool. You will have your own supervisor, a familiar work community, and the home care team in which you are currently working. What does the work involve? As a home care nurse, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care. The work is mobile and versatile, and you will be able to utilize your strong clinical expertise in various home care environments. Eligibility requirement: Bachelor of Nursing degree or previous institute-level degree or specialist nursing degree or public health nurse or midwife degree, which includes legalization as a nurse. The position requires legalization in Finland according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994, 1200/2007). Language requirement is good oral and written skill in Finnish (at least level B2.1). Before the selection decision, the applicant must present an occupational health assessment of their ability to perform the tasks involved in the work and a certificate regarding a drug test. The position requires a tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. The position requires the presentation of a criminal record extract for those working with elderly people (Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care 741/2023, Section 28). The position requires the successful completion of the LOP/LOVe LOP medication permit. Medication permits are completed at the start of employment and must be successfully completed by the end of the probation period.
