SAP Project Engineer

Eaton's new campus for its critical power systems in Vantaa, Finland, was completed in November 2023. We make what matters work. ## What you’ll do: We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Project Engineer – SAP to drive the evolution of our SAP landscape in a rapidly scaling organization. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing SAP to the next level by improving processes, enabling system integration, and ensuring seamless communication between SAP and external systems. You will work at the intersection of business and IT, translating operational needs into scalable SAP solutions. SAP Development & Optimization * Lead initiatives to enhance and optimize SAP processes across the organization * Identify opportunities to improve system performance, usability, and data integrity * Configure and support SAP modules in alignment with business needs * Ensure SAP supports company growth, scalability, and standardization System Integration & Interfaces * Design, implement, and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems (e.g., MES, WMS, CRM, supplier platforms) * Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data exchange across systems * Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and interface failures * Collaborate with external vendors and IT partners on system connectivity Project Management * Lead SAP-related projects and system improvement initiatives * Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables * Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain * Drive structured implementation of new functionalities and tools Business Process Alignment * Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and technical specifications * Work closely with stakeholders to align system capabilities with operational processes * Support process standardization and best practice implementation Data & Performance Management * Ensure high data quality and consistency across systems * Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvements * Support reporting and analytics improvements through SAP data structures ## Qualifications: * Several years of experience in project management.
