Kaiku HR is seeking several workers for its client RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions) for significant shipbuilding industry projects at the Rauma shipyard. Now you have the opportunity to join a team building modern icebreakers, defense force vessels, and world-class specialty ships. Each of these vessels is a masterpiece of technology and sustainable development. An opening is available for a PLATE AND PROFILE BENDER. In this role, metal plates are bent using a press according to wooden models. Each piece to be processed is unique. This is therefore a position for a skilled craftsperson. Your duties include: - bending with a press according to wooden models - the pieces to be bent are 2–12 meters in size and each piece is different - work is done by feel and visually, with work steps repeated until the piece matches the model We require from you: - interest in shipyard and machine shop work - previous experience in a similar role or a special interest and aptitude for learning it - a careful and proactive approach to work - ability to work in a team - valid occupational safety and hot work cards - willingness to work in shifts Please note that selected individuals will undergo a basic personnel security clearance.
