HUS Acute is seeking a skilled and development-oriented Clinical Instructor for a permanent position at the Porvoo emergency area. The role begins on October 1, 2026, or as agreed. The Clinical Instructor plays a key role in ensuring quality, patient safety, and professional competence within the units, combining clinical nursing with staff competence assurance and training coordination. Work locations include the emergency outpatient clinic and emergency observation. Main responsibilities include planning, implementing, and developing the orientation process for new employees and maintaining orientation materials. The role involves developing staff competence, acting as a trainer for simulation training and demonstration workshops, and participating in expert and responsibility groups. Additionally, the instructor engages in clinical nursing, provides daily support, and works closely with the ward manager, assistant ward managers, training physicians, and a multidisciplinary team to strengthen evidence-based nursing and update patient instructions. The position offers an independent expert role utilizing both pedagogical and clinical skills, supported by a management team, a motivated community, and HUS's extensive clinical instructor network. The work is three-shift work, primarily focusing on morning shifts, with opportunities to influence schedules through community shift planning. Experience in emergency and observation nursing is an advantage, and additional studies in guidance and teaching are highly valued. An active, self-directed approach to staff development and strong interaction skills are required.

Requirements
- Licensed healthcare professional
- Relevant Master's degree and experience, OR Bachelor's degree with suitable clinical instructor studies and experience, OR vocational degree with suitable clinical instructor studies and experience
- Good oral and written proficiency in Finnish and satisfactory proficiency in Swedish (or vice versa)
- Vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act
- Tuberculosis health clearance
