As a frame site manager at Nordec, you are responsible for the overall management of construction projects in the installation phase. Your task is to plan and lead the implementation of the project on site, being responsible for the schedule, quality, costs and ensuring occupational safety. You lead the daily operation of the site, guide your own installation team and subcontractors and ensure that materials and installation plans proceed as agreed. In addition, you are responsible for the smooth flow of logistics from the factory to the site and the implementation of safety-related practices on sites. You work in close cooperation with our project management teams and report to the project manager on the progress of the work. Nordec's projects cover extensive entities: in addition to steel and concrete frames, the scope of delivery may also include facade and roof structures. The sites vary from industrial buildings and data centers to logistics projects as well as office, public and bridge sites. In this position, data center experience and a strong background in element construction are particularly considered an advantage. Your main working area is Finland, but in the position you will also get to travel to project sites in the Nordic countries. What do we expect from you? You have a suitable education in the construction industry, for example a degree of construction manager or construction engineer, and several years of experience in managing sites. You have worked in responsible roles in construction projects and master the planning and management of the daily operation of the site as a whole, covering schedules, use of resources, quality and occupational safety. You are able to communicate fluently in Finnish and English and your Swedish language skills are considered an advantage. We consider the FISE steel construction site manager's demanding or exceptionally demanding qualification as an advantage, as well as other installation-related qualifications such as the concrete element installation site manager's qualification and concrete classes. Among the software, Dalux, Tekla Structures and MS project are important tools in your daily work. We require a willingness to travel from you.
