Mechanical Designer

Carrus Delta Oy is a Finnish bus body manufacturer with a long history, collaborating closely with Volvo Bussar AB. At Liedon factory, about 200 professionals work to design future buses. The Mechanical Designer will join to design bus bodies and equipment, handling both new developments and customer adaptations in an international environment. Responsibilities include designing shell structures and equipment solutions, selecting components and fittings, documenting and maintaining structures, 3D design for development projects and customer projects, coordinating with production and other experts, and developing new technical solutions to meet customer needs. We welcome applicants with either extensive design experience or those at the early stage of their career who are motivated to learn and grow. Key requirements include technical education, experience in automotive or machinery industries, proactive and systematic work style, problem-solving and teamwork skills, good Finnish and English language skills, and a genuine interest in design and learning.
