Cloudpoint Oy is now looking for an APPLICATION DEVELOPER to grow into a lead developer for AI-assisted product development. Work starts as soon as possible by agreement. We are looking for a delivery-responsible developer to build and maintain a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform for the education sector. At Cloudpoint, code is produced with AI assistance, which changes the traditional software developer role: we are not looking for a coder who knows the syntax of a specific programming language by heart, but a project-level thinker who wants to grow into a product-responsible lead developer. Your role and responsibilities: - Lead the project lifecycle: design, implementation, release, and maintenance - Break down broad and vague requirements into clear, deliverable parts - Prioritize and scope work according to business goals - Communicate actively about obstacles, risks, and schedules - Take end-to-end ownership from architecture to production Technical landscape: - Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – experience with other clouds (AWS, Azure) and a willingness to learn is sufficient - API architecture: Design and integration of own and third-party APIs - Directory services: Modern cloud-based identity and access management solutions (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID) - Node.js: Strong Node.js expertise, ability to debug and improve AI-generated code - Infrastructure as Code: Basics of Terraform - Containers and releases: Docker, Cloud Build - Frontend: Experience with a modern SPA framework (Vue, React, or Angular) - Security: Security-conscious software development practices and understanding of multi-tenant environments Working style and attitude: - Guide AI as your pair programmer and critically evaluate its outputs - Not afraid to jump into new technologies and see challenges as opportunities to learn - Communicate proactively and take responsibility for the whole - Curious, self-directed, and wanting to grow in your role Plus (speeds up onboarding, not mandatory): - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, Cloud Build) - Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architecture - Understanding of ETL/data pipelines (Apache Beam, Cloud Dataflow) - Basics of Python - Knowledge of the EdTech industry - Finnish language skills Salary and working model: - Starting salary: €4,000 – €4,500/month based on experience - Career path: Salary and responsibilities grow with your expertise and success - Remote work: Established practice, but regular presence at the Malmi office is required - Education: We support the development of cloud certifications and other expertise This recruitment is handled in cooperation with Nordrec Personnel Services.
