Temporary Substitute

Mäntsälä’s meal and cleaning services are inviting applications for short-term substitutes to join our teams. The units include 11 primary schools, 1 combined school, 1 secondary school and 1 high school, with five day-care sites. We hire for meal-service workers and cleaners for these units. We advertise longer substitutions on the municipal website under Open Jobs. In this role you will work irregularly for variable periods, and recruitment may occur with short notice. We hire both qualified professionals and students or others interested in the field for short-term assignments. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. A hygienic pass is desirable but not mandatory for short-term substitutions or cleaning tasks. For roles involving working with under-school-age children, a chest x-ray or tuberculosis clearance related to respiratory health is checked before start, in accordance with infectious disease law. After submitting the application, you will receive login credentials to our electronic recruitment system by email, or they will appear on screen if no email is provided. We will contact you to schedule an interview and, during the interview, we will guide the use of the electronic calendar and coordinate the units where you want to work. After the interview you will start using the electronic calendar and you can receive job offers by text on the days you prefer. Calendar updates are essential.
