Education Project Coordinator

English: The position is for an education project coordinator in Mäntsälä, tasked with developing S2-language instruction and supporting multilingual pupil transitions. The role centers on creating structures for preparatory teaching, setting criteria-based and uniform practices, and strengthening linguistically informed pedagogy and school culture. Responsibilities include defining transition criteria based on language skills, assessment practices, responsibilities, and parental involvement; developing operating models in collaboration with the steering group, schools, and homes; and shaping the language-support teacher’s role within municipal S2 and S1 instruction. The appointee must hold authorisation as a native-language and literature or language teacher and have experience teaching S2 and multilingual pupils. Strong ICT skills, flexible, autonomous, and developmental work attitude, teamwork and collaboration in multi-professional networks, and comfortable interaction with pupils and staff are required.
