The project “Strengthening and monitoring innovation and improvement actions of the penal and socio-educational systems, in line with national and international human rights principles and guidelines” aims to develop innovative methodologies and actions to restore the regular functioning of the prison and socio-educational system. The Deputy Technical Coordinator for Axis 2 will support the planning and monitoring of the implementation of actions in this axis, collaborating to meet the established schedule and quality of deliverables. Activities include: developing diagnostics on local contexts of the Rights Guarantee System (SGD), advising the CNJ on local action plans to reduce overcrowding, producing subsidies for initial care flows for adolescents, improving presentation and concentrated hearings, developing training methodologies for SGD actors, and creating awareness strategies for the integral protection of adolescents. Requirements: Advanced University Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Law, Public Management, Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Work, Philosophy or related areas. A Bachelor's degree with 2 additional years of qualified experience is also considered. Fluency in Portuguese is required; basic English is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Support the planning and monitoring of the implementation of actions for Axis 2
- Collaborate with the Technical Coordinator to ensure schedule compliance and quality of deliverables
- Advise the Technical Coordinator on the management of project actions
- Produce technical reports on the implementation of Axis 2
- Provide technical guidance for consultancies contracted within the Axis, including drafting terms of reference
- Monitor the execution of consultancies and contracts to ensure goals and schedules are met
- Conduct missions, meetings, and qualitative monitoring of products and goals
- Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor
Requirements
- Advanced University Degree (Master's or equivalent) in Law, Public Management, Administration, Economics, Social Sciences, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Social Work, Philosophy or related areas
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the above areas combined with 2 additional years of qualified experience
- Fluency in Portuguese
