About the role

Raaseborg city in Uusimaa seeks an inspiring and engaged leader who, together with residents, decision-makers and about 1,300 employees, wants to build a vibrant and sustainable city where people thrive and the business grows. Since our current city director is taking on new challenges, we are seeking a successor. We are looking for someone who is fearless, proactive, and outward-looking with the ability to grasp wholes and think long-term strategically. You have leadership experience, knowledge of municipal operations, strong financial competence and a development-oriented approach. As city director you also represent Raaseborg in various contexts and act as an important ambassador for the city. You will work in a historical and nature-rich environment with great development potential and a strong future orientation. Together with our organization you will strive for a vibrant and diverse business community, safe and attractive living environments and functioning services for residents and recreational residents. We take climate responsibility seriously and see a positive development through population growth, tourism and new jobs. Requirements include a higher university degree and good familiarity with public administration. You must master both Swedish and Finnish in speech and writing. Other language skills are considered merit. The city director is employed under a contractual relationship with a six-month probation period.
