Mechanical Designer – machinery and equipment design

In this role you will work on technically interesting machine and equipment assemblies. The position suits a designer who has experience with machines, production equipment, gears, engines, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics or other actuating mechanisms. You do not need decades of experience; what matters is practical experience in independent mechanical and 3D design and a willingness to deepen your knowledge with more demanding machine assemblies. You will be part of a versatile mechanical design team and contribute to the design and development of machines and equipment. Your responsibilities include concepting new solutions and developing existing products and structures. You will create and maintain 2D drawings and technical documentation, maintain product structures, item numbers and product data, manage changes, participate in product development and customer projects, and collaborate with purchasing, production, subcontractors and other technical specialists. If needed you may be involved in product responsibility and in maintaining product pricing and system data.
