Practical Nurse

Substitute practical nurse position at Käskynkkä Service Home in Parikkala. The role involves ensuring residents’ daily life, assisting with daily activities, and administering medicines. LifeCare software is used for patient records. The job is on a three-shift rotation. We offer orientation, meaningful work and supportive colleagues. Experience with round‑the‑clock care is valued. Required qualification is a social and health care foundational degree (practical nurse) and registration as a licensed social and health care professional. A valid medication dispensing license from South Karelia wellbeing district is required and can be pursued in the unit if needed. Vaccination against infectious diseases is required under the Infectious Diseases Act. The form for infection control screening is used for all patient‑work or training in patient work.
