We are strengthening our business team and are seeking fixed-term part-time hourly teachers for teaching and guidance tasks. Your duties will focus on the units of the basic business qualification emphasizing customer service, sales, marketing, and trade. We also value your expertise in other parts of the basic business qualification and common units. Experience in teaching and guiding adult students with immigrant backgrounds and professional qualifications will support the performance of the duties. Eligibility requirements are determined by the regulations concerning teachers of vocational qualification units in Decree 986/1998 (amended 1150/2017) on the eligibility requirements for teaching staff (appropriate higher education degree, 60 ECTS of pedagogical teacher studies, at least three years of practical work experience). In filling the position, we may also consider applicants who lack formal eligibility. We evaluate the applicant's suitability on a case-by-case basis. In addition to vocational education, Axxell Multicultural Center organizes integration training for adult immigrants and actively participates in projects. You will be supported by experienced colleagues, functional tools for face-to-face and remote teaching, and the processes of an established organization. Terms of employment follow the Sivista ry collective agreement. The employment relationship is fixed-term until summer 2027, and the working time is on average less than 16 hours/week. Salary 21.98 – 27.67 eur/h. It may be possible to extend or modify the employment contract if you are able to teach and guide a wide range of business-related qualification units or common units.
