Construction Project Manager - Rakennuttajatoimisto HTJ Oy - Oulu, Finland

We are seeking an experienced professional for our diverse construction assignments in Oulu, responsible for building projects in Northern Finland. Your projects may include new or renovation works for private or public clients. You will work with various client organizations, and successful projects often lead to new assignments from the same client. Your work is independent, and as a project manager, you will be responsible for your own construction projects. Your tasks include project management and commissioning tasks according to the Construction Supervision Tasks (HJR18), starting from needs assessment phases and continuing through warranty periods. Tasks are typically initiated after project planning, either with design or construction preparation, depending on the project delivery method. In smaller assignments, you will oversee the site supervision yourself, while in more complex projects, you will guide the site supervisors within your project team, ensuring the client's wishes and objectives are met. You have a suitable educational background in construction, such as a Bachelor of Engineering (AMK) or Master of Science (DI), and at least about five years of experience in commissioning tasks, consulting, or project management within a construction company. You are well-qualified if you hold RAP or RAPS certification, demonstrating competence in commissioning tasks. A responsible and proactive project manager who takes care of project matters will succeed in this role. Our work is based on mutual trust with clients and other project parties. You communicate effectively with different stakeholders both within the company and in projects. Your responsibilities include preparing contracts and commercial documents, so proficiency in Finnish is required. You will produce necessary project documentation using various information systems and applications. The start date is flexible, with a target of October 2026 at the latest. Our project managers perform varied and mobile work: part of the week can be spent remotely, on-site, or at our office in Oulu, where our shared workspaces are located.
