As one of our long-term employees retires, we are seeking a new **MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN** for our factory in Turku. In Turku, we manufacture washing and cleaning agents for industry, professional use, and consumers. Our own 11-person maintenance team works in close cooperation with production to ensure high-quality and efficient operations. Work is performed on weekdays in two shifts, and the working time is 40 hours per week. **What are the duties of a maintenance technician in production?** In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of production equipment on packaging lines, promoting flexible, efficient, and disturbance-free production. You will independently handle product changes according to the production schedule. With a proactive approach, you will also manage the installation and fine-tuning of lines and machines during operation. Additionally, your duties include troubleshooting and repairing production equipment during operation, as well as performing preventive maintenance on machines and equipment according to the maintenance plan. We hope you will also propose improvements for production equipment, methods, operations, and equipment safety. **You might thrive as a maintenance technician with us if you have:** - **Suitable education for the role or experience gained in the field** – We especially value experience in the manufacturing industry and working with automatic packaging machines. Technical education suitable for the field or skills acquired through work will support success in the role. You may also be an electrical or automation technician if you have experience in industrial maintenance. Experience using maintenance systems is considered an advantage. - **A proactive work ethic and teamwork skills** – Work is performed both independently and in a group. You will interact daily with internal stakeholders. - **A passion for learning new things** – We encourage learning, and based on your interest and previous experience, you will have the opportunity to develop into a multi-skilled maintenance professional. - **Language skills** – The position requires fluent Finnish.
