Project Manager, BESS Projects We are now seeking a Project Manager for Eltel’s Power Transmission and Renewables business to lead demanding battery energy storage system (BESS) projects and ensure their successful delivery. You will work on significant energy-sector investments and be responsible for projects being completed safely, with high quality and profitably. Your official work location can be any Eltel office in Finland, for example Espoo, Kempele or Turku. The role involves travel and working at project sites around Finland during different project phases. This is a permanent position, and the start date will be agreed with the selected person. What is the role about? As Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading projects and ensuring that they are delivered according to the agreed schedule, budget and quality level. You will lead projects in close cooperation with customers, partners, contractors and Eltel experts. Your main responsibilities include: • Preparing project plans, including objectives, schedules and risks • Leading, coordinating and monitoring project progress • Managing costs, budgets and resources • Planning and monitoring schedules • Quality management and monitoring quality • Identifying and managing project risks • Resolving changes and challenges at different project stages • Project reporting and documentation What do we expect from you? Success in the role requires a relevant higher-education degree and experience leading substation or large-scale energy projects. We hope you have: • Experience leading project portfolios worth at least €10 million • Strong expertise in overall project management • Experience managing schedules, costs and resources • Skills in risk management and leading projects through changes • The ability to build and maintain effective customer and stakeholder relationships • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Fluency in Finnish and English Experience leading industrial-scale battery storage projects is considered an advantage.
