Job Description

We at VAKE are boldly building a wellbeing area together that our residents can trust. We want to be a stable pioneer that renews operations openly and human-centrically. Our values of fairness, responsibility, and courage guide our daily work. Do you recognize these as your own values? Join our 'Hyvantekijät' team! We are looking for a permanent registered nurse for the Koisoniitty Service Centre. Koisoniitty Service Centre operates according to the Housing First model and consists of two service entities: 24-hour assisted living and community living. The goal of Koisoniitty Service Centre is to reduce and prevent homelessness and prevent the prolongation and recurrence of homelessness. Our client work is framed by a recovery orientation, emphasizing inclusion, the person's resources, hope, and meaningfulness, as well as supporting the client's own goals. Residents are guided, supported, and advised according to their own needs and a jointly drawn-up plan. The nurse is responsible for the implementation of medication therapy in the unit. The work includes guidance and counseling related to medication and health care and, if necessary, accompanying the client to services. The nurse is also responsible for ordering health care supplies and managing medical devices. Extensive network cooperation, health counseling, and cooperation with the doctor are emphasized in the work. A multidisciplinary team works at Koisoniitty Service Centre, including practical nurses, social instructors, registered nurses, and an occupational therapist, as well as a supervising instructor and a local manager. There is also an open healthcare unit at Koisoniitty, whose development you can participate in together with the team and networks. There are over 40 residents in total. Experience working with substance abuse and mental health clients and/or homelessness work is considered an advantage. The work involves working in rapidly changing and occasionally challenging interaction situations, so good interaction skills are important. We value a humorous, imaginative, and efficient approach, as well as a development-oriented attitude. The client base requires extensive knowledge of services for clients of different ages and those needing various types of support (e.g., mental health and substance abuse services and neuropsychiatry). We hope for initiative and a desire to learn new things. The work is two-shift work. We require the completion of medication permits according to the schedule of the medication plan. The position will be filled once a suitable person is found, so please submit your application as soon as possible. In Koisoniitty's unique operating environment, you can implement versatile rehabilitative and inclusion-promoting housing services. To support success in the role, we offer good orientation, a safe working environment, and support from colleagues and supervisors. In addition, regular supervision, staff meetings, team meetings, and training opportunities are available. Why Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area?
