We are looking for a heavy equipment mechanic for a permanent position in Kotka. At the Kotka workshop, we work diversely with trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment. We act as a service and cooperation partner for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, IVECO, MAN, and VDL. If you have experience in the maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers, or other heavy equipment and want to work in a skilled and straightforward work community, you may be the person we are looking for. Your tasks In your work, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment, including: - Inspections and scheduled maintenance - Diagnostics and repair work - Ensuring the safety, reliability, and roadworthiness of the equipment - Cooperation with customers and your own team What you bring with you - Experience in the maintenance, repair, and fault diagnostics of trucks and other heavy equipment - A Category C driver's license, as the work includes moving equipment within the workshop and yard area - A proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach to work - Good cooperation and interaction skills - Ability to work in urgent situations without compromising quality - A positive attitude and a good sense of humor Additionally, we especially value knowledge of braking systems, trailer technology, as well as electrical and hydraulic systems, but these are not essential for success in the role.
