HSE Manager – Data Centre Project 📍 Amsterdam, Netherlands 📅 ASAP Start ⏳ 18-Month Freelance Contract 🏠 Accommodation Provided We are currently supporting a leading Data Centre contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced HSE Manager for a major Data Centre construction project in Amsterdam. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project from an early stage and play a key role in driving health, safety and environmental standards across site operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead all HSE activities across the project lifecycle. Develop, implement and monitor site-specific HSE plans and procedures. Conduct audits, inspections and safety reviews to ensure compliance with local legislation and company standards. Drive a positive safety culture across all contractors and stakeholders on site. Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training. Produce HSE reports and provide regular updates to senior management and the client. Requirements: Proven experience as a HSE Manager on large-scale construction projects. Previous Data Centre experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of European HSE regulations and best practice. Experience managing multiple subcontractors within a fast-paced construction environment. Relevant HSE qualifications (NEBOSH, NVQ, Diploma, IOSH or equivalent). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Package: Competitive freelance day rate. 18-month contract. Accommodation provided. Long-term project pipeline with potential for extension.
