Speech and Language Therapist

We are offering internship placements for two speech therapy students in the Satakunta Welfare Region, within the children and youth rehabilitation team, for four months. The internship is scheduled for spring 2027. One placement is at Perhekeskus Lounatuuli in Pori and the other at Perhekeskus Etelätuuli in Raum to, Finland. The internship involves a diverse range of assessment, guidance, and therapy work in the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team; you will meet clients at the clinic and, when needed, in their daily environments. You will also participate in networks and multidisciplinary working groups. We value good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You will be supported by a supervisor, a line manager and other staff at your site. The start date can be agreed flexibly for early 2027. We hope you are in the final phase of your studies and able to complete a long internship. The intern must present a police certificate (as required for working with children) in accordance with section 6(2) of the Police Act. Terms of service are governed by the SOTE agreement, and a trial period applies to the position. The internship pays a salary of 1,838.63 €/month. Proficiency in Finnish is required.
