Speech Therapy Intern

We are offering internship positions for two speech therapy students in the children's and youth rehabilitation team of the Satakunta wellbeing services county for a period of four months. The internship takes place in spring 2027. One position is located in Pori at the Lounatuuli Family Center and the other in Rauma at the Etelätuuli Family Center. The internship includes a diverse range of assessment, guidance, and therapy work within the family center's multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will meet clients at the clinic and, as needed, in their everyday environments. Additionally, you will participate in various networks and multidisciplinary working groups. We value good interaction and cooperation skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be supported by a supervisor, a manager, and other staff at your location. The start date of the internship will be agreed upon flexibly for early 2027. We hope that you are in the final stages of your studies and completing a long-term internship. The intern must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act, as required for those working with children. The terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement, and a probationary period applies to the position. The salary for the internship is €1,838.63/month. Good proficiency in the Finnish language is required for the position. A driver's license and the use of own car are considered an advantage.
