Martinlaakso School is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with about 1000 students and 130 adults. We operate in a modern building with up-to-date equipment. Our goal is to be a pedagogically unified school where class and subject teaching are close to each other. We develop our school according to the ProKoulu model, which means common goals and positive feedback for guiding student behavior. Commitment to this model is required. Pedagogical expertise and differentiation: Ability to plan and implement teaching that considers learners of different levels. Mastery of diverse teaching methods. Multicultural sensitivity: Readiness to meet students from different language and cultural backgrounds with respect. Understanding of S2 teaching needs. Interaction and cooperation skills: Ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians. Active participation in the team. Holistic support for the student: Interest in students' well-being and schooling. Readiness to participate in the school's community models. Flexibility and solution-orientation: Ability to act in changing situations. Positive attitude towards development. We offer modern learning spaces, up-to-date tools, and a competent community. We emphasize community and well-being, and new teachers have mentors. Based on the number of S2 students, a salary supplement of approx. 250 eur/month may be paid. Eligibility: Qualification according to Decree 986/1998. We consider it an advantage: Readiness to teach lower grade music to other groups in addition to one's own group if necessary. Terms of employment are determined by the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: OVTES. Required permits: Valid criminal record extract. Number of positions: 1. Probation period: 6 months. Full-time. Official relationship (Virkasuhde).
