Caregiver for a special-needs youth – afternoon activities

The Mehiläinen groups is built on care and service. We are seeking a part-time caregiver for a special-needs youth to support afternoon activities in Helsinki. The role involves assisting and supporting a young person in afternoon programming, with opportunities to work in group settings with other youths. We value reliability, initiative and a customer-oriented attitude, and the applicant will be required to provide a police background check for work with the elderly, disabled and children. Tuberculosis screening is required for all applicants meeting THL risk criteria. In Mehiläinen Kotipalvelut, staff benefits include health, fitness and wellness benefits and partner discounts; gig contracts include Lomakorvaus (9% of hourly pay). The position hours are weekdays 13:45–16:30 or 13:45–17:00. Applications close 31 October 2026. Salary for the role is governed by the private social services sector collective agreement (G16A) at 13.31–14.71 €/h; in gig contracts an additional vacation pay of 9% of the hourly wage is paid.
