Boomeranger Boats Oy is a Finnish boat manufacturer based in Loviisa that designs and builds internationally respected RHIB boats for authorities, security and defense use. Our production is growing, and we are now looking for four production workers for our composites production in Loviisa. What would you do with us? As a production worker, you will participate in manufacturing boat hulls and composite parts as part of a skilled production team. Your duties include making composite structures using hand-lay-up methods and vacuum infusion technology. In your daily work, you will handle glass and carbon fiber materials, prepare materials for the manufacturing process, and participate in finishing products. The work gives you the opportunity to learn to become a composites manufacturing professional while working with responsible and technically interesting products. The boats are made for demanding use around the world, so your work plays an important part in the quality and performance of the finished product. The work is on a day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and the workweek is 40 hours. The employment is permanent and begins through Biisoni. What are we looking for? Previous experience in composites, fiberglass, or production work will help you succeed, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important. You may be experienced or at the beginning of your career. Boomeranger will provide thorough training, so you do not need to be an already-qualified composites professional. We hope you have a practical approach, manual skills, and readiness to use various hand tools. The ability to read technical drawings, or an interest in learning, is also useful. We value people who take initiative, ask for advice confidently, and want to develop in their work. Finnish is the main working language, but basic English is also useful. What do we offer? Pay for the position is approximately €2,500–€3,500 per month, depending on your experience. The Plastics Products and Chemical Products Industry collective agreement applies to the employment.
