We offer an interesting position in Kajaani working with applied top-level research. Our strengths are based on multidisciplinary expertise in measurement technologies and solutions for managing, analyzing, and utilizing measurement data. We produce comprehensive solutions ranging from the development of measurement technology to the efficient utilization of data. CEMIS operates in nationally significant application areas such as bioeconomy, the mining industry, sports and wellbeing, the data economy, and gaming and simulation technology. In this position, you will lead a network of measurement and information systems consisting of approximately one hundred experts, an expert organization, and a research center with annual funding exceeding 12 million euros. Our goal is to further strengthen our international position, and you will play a key role in this work. We expect an enthusiastic, inspiring, and innovative approach to work. CEMIS (Centre for Measurement and Information Systems) is a contract-based research and training center specializing in measurement and information systems, jointly operated by the Universities of Oulu and Jyväskylä, VTT, CSC - IT Center for Science, and Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. CEMIS has operated in Kajaani since 2010. The Director is employed by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. In addition to the leadership duties of CEMIS, the Director may be assigned other duties as agreed between the contracting parties. The Director's salary and terms of employment are determined according to the Sivistä collective agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences. The applicant may state a salary request.
