We are currently seeking new family counselors for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, with work regions in Western Uusimaa, Helsinki, or Vantaa-Kerava. In the role of a family counselor, you will implement guidance-based change work in the homes or immediate environments of client families in family social work or child welfare, according to an agreed plan and goals, and respond as necessary to other factors affecting the child. The position is suitable for professionals with a genuine desire and interest in guiding and supporting client families in family work. We value the expertise brought by experience and the ability to operate in diverse situations. The work is focused on afternoons and evenings. Hourly wage 20-25€/h. We require a UAS degree in social services or a previous equivalent vocational college degree, as well as registration with Valvira. Experience with children or young people receiving special support or those under child welfare services is considered an advantage. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children.
