We are seeking skilled CNC machinists for a shop in Ikaalinen. The role involves working in a machine shop environment, performing CNC turning and milling tasks for small batches and single pieces on a modern machine fleet. The work currently operates on a two-shift system, with readiness for three shifts in the future. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, take responsibility for their work, and want to develop further in machining. Key attributes include a good attitude, meticulousness, and a commitment to doing the job well from start to finish. Responsibilities include CNC machining for small batches and single pieces, operating various machines (lathes, milling centers, grinding equipment, etc.), creating setups and programmes and fine-tuning, ensuring quality with measuring tools and professional craftsmanship, and adopting a development-oriented mindset with small daily improvements in lean spirit. Requirements include experience in CNC machining, initiative and solution-oriented mindset, ability to work as part of a team and take on different machines when needed, and willingness to grow and learn more.
