Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for our client in Pirkkala, Finland, to work in industrial environments. In this role you will lead and participate in projects to modernize and develop industrial automation systems and software. You will design solution models, analyze and develop PLC programs, and participate in commissioning, testing and production-time optimization. You will troubleshoot faults and act as a technical expert both to customers and within your team. Projects will involve B&R, Beckhoff, Codesys and Siemens-based solutions, as well as HMIs, data communication and remote connectivity packages. The candidate should have several years of experience in industrial automation and project-based work. Not everything must be mastered immediately; the position offers opportunities to broaden expertise. Strong Finnish and English language skills are required. Some domestic travel and possibly occasional international assignments are expected. The position is permanent and full-time. Start date is by agreement and salary depends on experience and skills.
