Our work community values collaboration and a positive team spirit. We are looking for a School Attendance Assistant who is motivated to perform the duties of school attendance supervision. The role’s goal is to guide and support the learner in the schooling and learning process at different stages. We value good cooperation skills and a flexible working approach. Your working hours as a School Attendance Assistant are 26h/week. This academic year duties mainly lie in the special class, but groups may vary by academic year. The role may include medication for students. The base salary is 1669.20 €, with potential additional allowances in accordance with KVTES. The contract includes 30 days summer break, typically in July. The total scheduled hours for the school year can be adjusted within the school’s resources. School Attendance Assistants are employed by the City of Helsinki and the first workplace is noted in the contract; the workplace may change year by year. The summer break is typically in July and summer holidays are scheduled in school breaks. During other school holidays, attendance assistants may also work in centralized activities for disabled children. The workplace may be at another Helsinki school.
