Full-time hourly teacher, sheet metal and welding

Are you a seasoned professional in sheet metal and welding who wants to ensure skilled workers remain in the field? We are seeking a full-time hourly teacher for a temporary position as a substitute. The start date is flexibly agreed, but no later than 1 December 2026. We would like to strengthen our team as soon as possible, so we will select the right candidate once found. The role involves working with students both in YSAO learning environments (workshops and theory rooms) and at workplaces. You will guide students’ learning by doing work and building skills using various technologies, in a way that best supports learning. The job includes evaluating competence in demonstrations, collaboration with the industry, and planning and development tasks with the team. Teaching, development and responsibility duties are confirmed annually in a work-time plan. The full-time yearly workload is 800–1500 hours and may vary year to year.
