Store Manager - trainee

The job is a full-time trainee position with responsibility for your own store within 1–2 years. You will gain responsibility, training and opportunities to grow to a store manager role. The program includes mentoring, a structured training plan and rotations through different JYSK stores. The role involves sales, stock handling, customer service, cashier duties and other store-maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the store manager and have a dedicated mentor. You will participate in JYSK’s trainee training program held at the Tampere/Vantaa office in weekly blocks, with on-the-job training across stores. The job is physical with many steps each day. You should be willing to travel and work in different stores during the first year and possibly relocate to take the next step. The employer values attitude, ambition, team orientation and a customer-focused approach. The position is permanent and full-time, averaging 37.5 hours per week. Salary is according to the retail collective agreement (1,743–2,441 €/month depending on experience) plus responsibility allowance and evening/weekend bonuses.
