Practical Nurse

We provide 24-hour housing for clients with intellectual disabilities in a peaceful and beautiful environment. Our housing services consist of three separate group homes, with a total of 15 client places. We are now seeking a practical nurse for a permanent position. The practical nurse's job description includes supporting and assisting clients in their daily lives while respecting the client's right to self-determination. You will be oriented to the task and supported by a competent and professional team. We process applications and begin interviews during the application period. Workplace name: Ingaksenmäki Housing Services Address: Ingaksenmäki 1, 02940 Espoo Working hours: 114.45 h / three-week period. Primarily 2-shift work The position is permanent. Eligibility requirements: A person acting under the title of practical nurse is required to have the right to use the title-protected professional title suitable for the task. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis certificate according to Section 55 of the Communicable Diseases Act. Those selected for employment may be randomly asked for a drug test certificate in accordance with the drug program of the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county. From January 1, 2025, the person selected for the position must present a criminal record extract concerning themselves in accordance with Section 28 of Act 741/2023 to verify the criminal background of those working with disabled persons. In addition, the position requires a hygiene passport and sufficient written and oral skills in Finnish. We also require valid medication permits. You can also complete the medication permits immediately at the start of employment.
