The Herttoniemi 1 home care team is seeking a Charge Nurse for a fixed-term substitute position until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on supporting clients' daily lives, functional capacity, and independent living. As a Charge Nurse, you will develop home care operations, support staff expertise, and ensure high-quality, safe, and client-oriented care. The work is conducted on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Key responsibilities include serving as the team's nursing expert, planning care in collaboration with nurses and primary nurses, and ensuring the quality and safety of care. You will perform home visits, collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure evidence-based care, and actively participate in operational development. The role allows for independent planning of the workday and offers opportunities to develop leadership skills by substituting for the supervisor when necessary. Requirements include being a registered nurse or health care nurse with experience and interest in elderly care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Experience with Helsinki's home care, valid LOP/LOVe LOP medication permits, proficiency in Apotti and Rai systems, and a Class B driver's license for manual cars are required. Previous supervisory experience is considered an advantage. The position requires a valid nursing degree and professional licensure in Finland, as well as good oral and written Finnish skills (at least level B2.1).
