You will join an enthusiastic and bold group of early childhood education teachers in Kirkkonummi to create sustainable and impactful early childhood education together with learning and celebrating successes. You will work with a wide group of professionals in Kirkkonummi’s early childhood education: educational counselors, psychologists, language and culture teachers, a pre-school counselor, and an early childhood education digital coordinator and other experts. We value your interest and experience in developing pedagogy for young children. As an early childhood education teacher you will be responsible for your team’s pedagogy, assessment and development, participate in the day-to-day early childhood education work and development alongside the day-care director. We expect strong collaboration skills and a willingness to work community-minded and constructive. We give room for initiative and new ideas, and you will have influence over your work. Qualification requirement: eligibility as an early childhood education teacher according to Varhaiskasvatuslaki §26. The person selected must provide a criminal background check within 30 days of notification of selection (Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children). The role requires health status clearance for respiratory tuberculosis as per the Infectious Diseases Act. Kantvikin Daycare is a daycare in the Kirkkonummi town center area, centralized for Kantvikin area’s kindergarten, located in nature and by the sea. Outdoor learning and nearby recreational facilities support children’s relationship with nature. Interviews are held during the recruitment window.
