Practical Nurse

We are looking for a practical nurse for a permanent position. Ylähovi is a small, home-like housing service unit for the elderly located near the center of Hyvinkää. There are 19 residents in our unit, and we care for them with a rehabilitative, individual nursing approach. We are looking for an energetic, competent and development-oriented practical nurse for our team. It is a plus if RAI assessments are already familiar to you and you have medication permits. Both can, of course, be completed at the beginning of the employment relationship. Your attitude and skills, as well as your desire to develop, are decisive! Eligibility required for the position: The eligibility condition is a vocational qualification in social and health care or a previous vocational qualification of school level in the field. Further information on the employment relationship and clearances to be presented for the position: Permanent employment relationship starting 1.9.2026 or by agreement. The position-specific salary is 2844.60 e/month. In addition, we pay an increase based on work experience. In immediate patient and client work, vaccination protection required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a respiratory tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55 are required. The selected person must present a criminal record extract referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting work, as the work is located in working with the elderly. A probationary period is observed in the position. Original work and study certificates are presented in connection with a possible interview. Application period ends 20.8.2026 at 14.00. The Central Uusimaa Welfare Area is responsible for social and health services as well as the organization of rescue services and specialized medical care in the areas of Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen and Tuusula.
