About the role

We are seeking a physiotherapist for a permanent position in outpatient work in Lempäälä. The Lempäälä physiotherapy and occupational therapy unit operates as part of the overall local rehabilitation services of the Pirkanmaa wellbeing services county. In the Lempäälä-Vesilahti local rehabilitation physiotherapy and occupational therapy unit, physiotherapists and occupational therapists work in outpatient clinics, home rehabilitation, and in local hospital wards. Outpatient duties include individual appointments for clients of various ages, assistive device work, group instruction, and home visits as needed. The work emphasizes physiotherapeutic examination and the promotion of clients' functional capacity through various physiotherapy methods. The goal is to promote functional capacity and strengthen individual activity and participation in their own daily environment. Assistive device work mainly includes the delivery and receipt of devices, ordering new devices, and assistive device assessments, also during home visits. The qualification requirement is a physiotherapist licensed in Finland. We require a willingness to adapt to possible changes in job duties and work locations. Success in the role requires an independent and multidisciplinary approach, a positive attitude toward development, excellent interaction and cooperation skills, and flexibility in changing work situations. Experience in outpatient and assistive device work is considered an advantage. Further information: We hope you can start in our team from September 1, 2026, or by agreement if necessary. The position has a six-month probationary period. The position is full-time with working hours of 38.25h/week. The selected candidate must meet the suitability requirements according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
