This vacancy oversees leadership of the property maintenance and facilities team at Turun Ylioppilaskyläsäätiö (TYS). The Kiinteistöpalvelujohtaja leads the maintenance of existing properties, maintenance planning, and technical services, and is responsible for theFacilities services team’s operations, finances and personnel. The role includes leading a six-person team, serving as a member of the management team, and reporting to the CEO. Responsibilities include management of the team’s staff, finances and operations; planning and development of maintenance and technical services; leading maintenance life-cycle planning and implementation; preparing and controlling budgets; managing external service providers and contracts; steering public tenders and framework agreements; lifecycle management and reliability of properties; reporting and stakeholder collaboration. The candidate should have technical education (e.g., building services or real estate), extensive experience in property maintenance leadership, strategic planning, demonstrated people leadership, and strong collaboration and communication skills in Finnish and English. Requirements

- Excellent people and stakeholder skills
- Fluent Finnish (spoken and written); working knowledge of English
