Early Years Teacher

A daycare in Rovaniemi, Finland is seeking an Early Years Teacher for a permanent position starting 1 September 2026 or as agreed. We are looking for an engaged, motivated teacher with good interpersonal and communication skills to join a two-teacher team with 3–5 year old children (up to 14 in total). The main task is to support and promote the child's holistic growth, development and learning prerequisites, and to be responsible for planning and implementing early childhood education plans. We value a homely, child-centered, unhurried atmosphere, with clear boundaries and affection. The role requires strong interaction skills and organizational ability; planning and sensitivity are needed to deliver quality early education. Experience in Steiner education is a plus, and we offer orientation and opportunities to training to develop Steiner pedagogy. Applicants must present a criminal background check as required by law and pass a medical examination including a drug test before taking the post. The qualifying degree is a Bachelor's in Education for early childhood education (or equivalent social services studies giving eligibility to teach in early childhood education).
