Shift Electrician

We are seeking a motivated electrician to join Outokumpu in Degerfors to join our electrical maintenance team. In this role you will work in a dynamic environment where safety is always the top priority. You will collaborate closely with mechanics and automation technicians to handle urgent machine failures and to plan and perform preventive maintenance. The role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and challenging tasks that develop your skills and technical understanding. The position also includes administration, supplier contacts and independent daily planning, providing flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to improvements of our processes. The job is full-time with a consistent 5-shift schedule. Your tasks include: - Diagnostics, repair and preventive maintenance of Outokumpu's electrical equipment - Development of electrical maintenance to ensure a reliable production facility - Active participation in the company's safety work to create a safe working environment - Contributing to improvement efforts both individually and in a team - Assisting different sections with preventive and corrective maintenance work - Using our maintenance system Maximo Your profile: - Vocational education in electrical, industry, automation or equivalent - Structured and responsible with a strong drive - Proactive and solution-oriented - Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written - Good computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is advantageous - Experience in fault finding, PLC skills or process understanding within furnace technology is advantageous - Experience with maintenance and maintenance systems for machine equipment and electrical systems is advantageous Application & contact: If you are interested, please submit your application with CV by 15 August 2026.
