Project Manager

The Oulu Parish Federation is seeking a fixed-term Project Manager (50%) for the period 1.9.2026 - 31.8.2027. The position is located within the special services for parish work. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and monitoring of the ESR+-funded 'Good Everyday Life Together' project. The project implementation period is 1.3.2025-31.8.2027. The duties include leading the implementation according to the project plan, collaborating with the funder, steering group work, reporting, financial monitoring, and coordinating cooperation between project partners. The Project Manager is responsible for aligning work packages, planning and monitoring the implementation of project communications, and representing the project in networks and cooperation forums. The goal of the project is to strengthen the inclusion, social integration, and active agency of immigrants, particularly those in a weak labor market position or at the highest risk of marginalization. The project develops community operating models and services that support integration, equality, and interaction between different population groups. The development work utilizes the experiential knowledge and cultural expertise of the participants. The Oulu Parish Federation acts as the main implementer of the project in cooperation with Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and the Oulu Deaconess Institute Foundation. Successful performance of the duties requires a higher university degree and strong experience in project work and project management. We especially value: - experience from ESR or other development and funding projects - experience in immigrant and integration work and working in multicultural environments - strong communication skills and the ability to plan, implement, and coordinate project communication for different target groups - excellent cooperation, interaction, and networking skills - a developing, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work - the ability to manage multiple simultaneous entities and lead cooperation between different organizations. Salary according to KirVESTE. The position is in difficulty group 601. The total salary for a 50% employment relationship is 2,173.84 euros/month. The employment relationship begins as agreed.
