Class Teacher

Martinlaakso School in Vantaa is seeking a Class Teacher to serve as a music class teacher. The school is a comprehensive school for grades 1-9 with approximately 1,000 students and 130 staff members. The role involves planning and implementing teaching that accommodates learners of different levels, utilizing diverse teaching methods and multicultural sensitivity, particularly regarding S2 (Finnish as a second language) instruction. The school follows the ProKoulu operating model, which emphasizes positive feedback and shared goals for guiding student behavior. The ideal candidate should be committed to this model, possess strong interaction and cooperation skills to build trust with students and guardians, and be flexible in diverse learning environments. A monthly salary supplement of approximately 250 EUR may be paid based on the number of S2 students.
