The Tampere Addiction Treatment Unit within the A-klinikkayhteisö Tampere provides around-the-clock care for adults in need of treatment and recovery from addiction. The unit delivers intensive inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation, with spaces also for detoxification treatment. As a nurse in the inpatient unit you work as part of an multidisciplinary team. Your duties include patient care relationships, planning and implementing addiction treatment or rehabilitation according to the care pathway, motivating and guiding clients, leading therapeutic groups, administering medication in line with the unit physician’s instructions, documentation and reporting, and cooperation with the client and their family network. The job includes morning and evening shifts and involves work in both inpatient rehabilitation and detoxification settings. What we require: We value proactive development mindset and cooperative attitude, along with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. The position requires a higher education degree in nursing (AMK nurse) or a Bachelor-level health care nursing degree, with specialization in addiction and/or mental health work or other related expertise. Client experience is highly important, so you should be approachable and understand the elements of good customer experience. The role requires vaccination protection in accordance with infectious diseases legislation §48. While group facilitation skills and licensure to administer medication are appreciated, they are not mandatory. Medication licenses can also be pursued after starting work. G24D 2811.09 € – 3071.09 €, with additional pay according to A-klinikka Oy’s pay scales depending on your competencies and education.
