Roka Street Bistro is a 25-seat neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Rovaniemi. The restaurant combines a relaxed atmosphere, high-quality ingredients, and an uncompromising approach to work. The kitchen draws inspiration from American, Italian, and Meänmaa flavors – resulting in bold street food with a bistro feel, quality drinks, and warm service that leaves a lasting impression on customers. Winter in Rovaniemi is the busiest and most exciting time for the restaurant industry. The city fills with tourists from around the world, the northern lights light up the evenings, and workdays are full of encounters with customers from different cultures. Seasonal work in Lapland offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, meet new people, and spend free time enjoying wonderful winter experiences. We are looking for a waiter/waitress for a fixed-term employment contract for the winter season. Work begins in early November and continues at least until the end of March. Shifts are available in morning, mid-day, and evening slots, and the working time is fully hourly at 112.5 hours / 3 weeks. The salary for the position is at least according to the MARAVA TES 13.70–15.04 €/h + bonuses. The pace of work during the season is fast – there are often queues of customers every day. Therefore, we are looking for a professional who enjoys busy service work, stays in control under pressure, and understands that a successful restaurant experience is created through the cooperation of the entire team.
