Fingrid plays an important role in achieving Finland's climate goals. Fingrid plans to invest approximately five billion euros in the main grid over the next ten years to ensure renewable energy remains available to consumers. Do you want to be part of modernizing Finland's electricity system? We are looking for a DATA AND ANALYTICS LEAD for the Asset Digitalization unit in Helsinki. At Fingrid, we are investing heavily in the development of data analytics and are looking for an expert to be responsible for the overall management and development of data. You will work with a new, modern data lake and build the foundation for even more efficient use of data. The position is a fixed-term substitute for about 10 months, and we hope you can start in October. As the Data and Analytics Lead, you will ensure that data related to grid assets as well as grid development and condition management is easy to find, reliable, and effectively usable. We have a new modern data lake, and you will play a key role in ensuring that a sustainable foundation for future analytics and data utilization is built from the data lake. You will work as the product owner for business area reporting and related data lake development. You will work in close cooperation with suppliers and the business, taking care of moving things forward and prioritizing. You will join the Asset Digitalization unit, which is responsible for the development and maintenance of systems used in grid construction and condition management, as well as the maintenance of asset data and related operational development in cooperation with other asset management units. The unit also serves as technical support for application managers. We work in a hybrid model and hope to see you in our office at least 2–3 days a week. You already have some experience working with data, information systems, or analytics, as well as a university degree suitable for the position, for example in production economics, computer science, or electrical engineering. We especially value the ability and desire to learn new things and enthusiasm for developing the use of data to support business. You communicate fluently in both Finnish and English. You are an enthusiastic, proactive, and efficient team player when it comes to data and information systems. Using data to support business motivates you, and you want to develop operations from a data-driven management perspective. You actively take on new challenges and are not averse to administrative tasks. You are systematic and keep things under control even in changing situations.
