Early Childhood Educator

The City of Kankaanpää is continuously recruiting early childhood education assistants for short-term and long-term substitute positions. Interested candidates can apply with an open application, specifying their availability and the types of substitutions they are interested in. A relevant vocational qualification in the field is considered an advantage, but students and those with work experience in the field are also welcome to apply. Applicants are expected to have education in early childhood education, previous work experience in similar roles, good interaction and cooperation skills, and a genuine interest in supporting children's well-being, growth, and learning. The working language in the daycares is Finnish, and good proficiency in Finnish is required. Additional language skills are welcomed. In the application, candidates should describe themselves, their background, education, work experience, strengths, and any special skills useful in early childhood education, such as music, sports, or arts and crafts. The role offers the opportunity to do meaningful work in children's daily lives and gain experience in diverse tasks. Identity, work, and degree certificates will be verified during a potential interview, and a criminal record extract will be checked in accordance with current legislation.
