Folkhälsan Välfärd Ab recruits a teacher in early childhood education for Trollebo Daycare in Kerava for a permanent position. The work is full-time and starts in August 2026 or by agreement. We seek a qualified teacher who wants to create a safe and inspiring environment for children with a focus on development, learning and wellbeing. We value creativity, collaboration, flexibility, communication and health-promoting practices. We are a Swedish-speaking certified health-promoting daycare offering preschool teaching and language immersion for Finnish-speaking children from Kerava and nearby municipalities. Trollebo is a Green Flag-certified daycare where children regularly participate in forest-themed activities. The daycare is in the same building as Svenskbacka School, forming a Swedish-speaking community at a language hub. You travel by train to Kerava; the Helsinki train ride takes about 20 minutes. As a teacher in early childhood education you are responsible for and plan the pedagogical activities. The work occurs in an environment with skilled educators and other professionals. We work in accordance with the Basic Education for Early Childhood Education and Folkhälsan's handbook. We offer you a workplace where you can influence and develop your work. Eligibility: eligible according to the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) or transitional provisions; candidate of pedagogy (teacher in early childhood education), suitable university of applied sciences degree or earlier equivalent institute-level qualification, e.g. kindergarten teacher or social pedagogue. Salary is according to the collective agreement for private early childhood education. The person chosen to work with minor children must present a police clearance (6 § 2 mom. of the Penal Code) and tuberculosis examination (55 § in the Communicable Diseases Act).
