Are you the cheerful and energetic practical nurse we are looking for to join our Oma Häme team in Vanamo, Forssa? We are seeking an employee for both 100% and 50% employment contracts. Please specify in your application whether you are applying for both or only one. We hope you can start in our team on September 14th or as agreed. In Vanamo, a total of 44 elderly people live in 24-hour service housing across two floors. As a practical nurse, your task is to implement comprehensive basic care and nursing for residents in cooperation with other staff, according to the care and service plan, in a way that supports the resident's functional capacity. We expect you to have the readiness and ability to act in a customer-oriented and multidisciplinary manner. We value good team and cooperation skills as well as open communication skills. We hope you have a positive and self-directed attitude, and a desire to work with a big heart in implementing a diverse and dignified end-of-life for elderly people. We also value an active approach and enthusiasm for organizing activities for our residents. In Vanamo, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of a team coordinator, registered nurses, practical nurses, and care assistants. The work is three-shift work. Qualification requirement is a suitable degree in accordance with Section 272/2005 of the Act on the Qualifications of Social Care Professionals. We require registration in the central register of social and health care professionals. We use the Lifecare patient information system. Participation in medication administration requires a valid medication permit. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement, which can range from 0% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is also determined based on length of service. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week. Applications must be submitted through the Kuntarekry system by the end of the application period. Those working with the elderly and disabled must present a criminal record extract as referred to in Section 6.4 of the Criminal Records Act, in accordance with Section 28.1 of the Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care (741/2023). Remuneration and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The probationary period is six months. Immediate patient and client work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a respiratory tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55.
