Junior Data Center Specialist, Suomen Huoltovarmuusdata Oy - Academic Work

As a data center specialist, you have a responsible and important role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the data center. This responsible role offers an excellent opportunity to develop as an expert. The office of Suomen Huoltovarmuusdata is located in Helsinki on Aleksanterinkatu, but the data centers where you will work are located in Uusimaa and Kanta-Häme regions. Your work will mainly focus on these areas. We are looking for two persons for this position, so please specify which area you prefer to work in. We offer - Comprehensive orientation and opportunities for continuous learning and development - A dynamic and supportive team - The possibility to discuss the continuation of employment after 6 months Work Tasks Customer Service Tasks - Receiving and guiding customers in a high-security data center environment Monitoring and Operational Support - Monitoring data center facilities and ensuring operations Device and Operating System Installations - Installing and securing server racks on platforms - Installing servers and various ICT devices - Installing operating systems - Working occasionally in confined spaces and special conditions Documentation and Reporting - Reporting and recording installations and modifications according to standards Customer Service and Communication - Coordinating pre-arranged customer visits, customer service - Phone duty and responding to issues Please note that the work involves working underground and installations may occur in tight spaces.
