Special Education Teacher, Järnefelt Comprehensive School - Lohjan kaupunki - Lohja, Finland

We are seeking a special education teacher for Järnefelt Comprehensive School for a fixed-term position from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. In our school, daily collaboration takes place with teachers, student guidance counselors, and other staff. A mentor teacher will be appointed from our school to assist with orientation and support you as a new member of our work community. Our school has a well-functioning student welfare team with whom you will collaborate. The certificates should show the completed degree and qualifying studies (e.g., pedagogical studies 60 credits, multidisciplinary studies 60 credits, subject teacher qualifications 60/120 credits). The salary for qualified applicants is 3029.51 - 3243.27 €/month plus possible annual bonuses, according to OVTES. For basic education teachers in Lohja, a TVA compensation of 146.55 €/month is paid (Lohja-TVA). In addition, special education teachers receive an extra TVA of 120.15 €/month. Other TVA compensations may also be paid when working for Lohja city. The position is subject to a trial period of half the employment duration. The selected candidate must present a health certificate from Keski-Uudenmaan Työterveys Oy, Lohja office, within one month of starting employment.
